ELF, HSUS, ALF, PETA

The FBI ranks the Environmental Liberation Front (ELF) and the Animal Liberation Front (ALF ) as the #1 Domestic Terrorist Threats.  Homeland Security (DHS) (ref #4) documents ties between animal terrorism, Animal Rights, HSUS, and PeTA. 

Many in law enforcement believe the Animal Rights movement is in actuality a noble-sounding, loosely knit political process intended to destroy democracy in the free world.  Active participants are comprised of a rebellious, restless, anti-establishment youth led by militant, cultish, and/or professorial activists.

• freedom of choice - the right to responsibly own any breed is forbidden by Breed Specific Legislation

• freedom from unfair taxation - license fees, fines, and outrageous permit fees on intact dogs or cats

• freedom from unreasonable search and seizure; warrantless break-ins nearly doubled in 2010

THE ANIMAL LIBERATION FRONT / ALF

Animal Liberation Front (ALF) was founded in England in 1976 by convicted bomber Ronnie Lee.  ALF has cells in 20 countries but the U.S. is now its primary front.  ALF made the FBI Terrorist List in 1987 with a Calif. Veterinary Lab torching resulting in several $million in damages. (ref #1)

FBI Testimony re: ALF & ELF - Congressional Record: FBI Domestic Terrorism Section Chief  Feb 12, 2002  testifies before House Counterterrorism Division "During the past several years, special interest extremism, as characterized by the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), has emerged as a serious terrorist threat... The FBI estimates that the ALF/ELF have committed more than 600 criminal acts in the United States since 1996, resulting in damages in excess of 43 million dollars." (ref #2)

ALF and ELF are financial recipients of PETA largess and share many of the same members.  But that should not surprise anyone because by their own words, PETA defines themselves:
