ANIMAL RIGHTS TERRORISTS

Most Animal owners know about HSUS but do you know what its Legislative Fund does to human rights under the guise of protecting animal rights?

HSUS-HSLF: HORSES, GUNS AND CIVIL RIGHTS

Wild horses are semi-protected in 2017 but HSUS slaughters human rights as guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution and reflected by the murder rate in the cities listed below.

SAOVA is a “nationwide, nonpartisan group of volunteers seeking to elect politicians who will oppose the "Animal Rights" (AR) threat to our rights as Americans.” In 2014 Susan Wolf wrote about threats to our Constitutional Rights which read in part: “Our volunteers are already busy following primary elections and monitoring HSUS/HSLF political contributions. To date contributions to Democrat federal candidates is $92,000 and to Republicans $45,000."

Thankfully, that reversed in the 2016 election but animal lovers are waiting to see if President Trump, who owns no pets, will be on top of any new, so-called animal "rights" legislation {1}.  In 2014 TheDogPlace.org wondered what our representatives are doing on behalf of voters who have deep concerns about preserving the wild horses and the right to bear arms? Here’s what SAOVA says.

“(We) petitioned the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to list wild horses as threatened or endangered, which would trigger protections for herds in 10 Western states. The groups contend wild horses on the public range face extinction because of loss of habitat to cattle grazing, mining, energy exploration and urban expansion."

Indeed, that helped to protect wild horses but what about human rights, among them the right to hunt and to keep and bear arms?

While we were fighting to protect horses and dogs, it became "politically incorrect" to hunt and in fact, hunters may have to train their Hounds, Setters, and Retrievers to hunt paper targets because they will be unable to bring down game with rubber bullets...

“HSUS has petitioned the Department of the Interior to  ban the use of lead ammunition when discharging a firearm on federal lands . The petition, signed by the HSUS, the Fund for Animals, Defenders of Wildlife, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Wildlife Conservation Society, and others, asks that the federal government mandate the use of non-lead ammunition for the taking of all species in areas managed by the National Park Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This would put one-fifth of the total land area of the United States off limits to hunters with traditional ammunition."

That is not just another silly proposal.  Last year HSUS successfully lobbied the California legislature to ban the use of lead ammunition for hunting animals but obviously, not for shooting people.  That is just part of what the HSUS Legal Fund does. We thank SAOVA for helping TheDogPlace.org make animal owners aware of the dangers to the environment caused by the tiny particle of lead at the end of the bullet casing!

We all know it isn't about the lead in a bullet.  It is about chipping away at our Constitutional Right to bear arms and the hunting heritage on which this nation was founded.

Why doesn't the HSUS/LF take aim at the thousands of human lives lost every year in the wilds of the metropolitan areas?

Perusing 2016 national crime rates, Detroit leads the list with over 2,000 violent crimes per 100,000 residents, followed by St. Louis (remember Ferguson?), New Orleans (too many celebrations), Baltimore, and depending on the year, Philly, Chicago, Birmingham, Memphis, Milwaukee, Oakland, Los Angeles.

Our founders insured Constitutional protection of gun rights in America. Sadly, they could not have imaged that there would be ten times more shootings in any major U.S. city than there were in all of the frontier six-gun disputes put together! Let us all hope that 2017 unfolds without any more crazy "animal rights" laws and that law enforcement is able to protect lives and the civil liberties upon which America was founded.  Let us not slip back into the tyranny we left behind in Europe.
