RELY ON FAITH AND YOUR DOG
There are two things we can rely on in troubled times. Family and friends may desert you but faith and the dog by your side will sustain you.
If you have a dog, you never need to ask for help or understanding, you don’t even have to notice him. Your best friend will be by your side, loving you, comforting you, guiding and protecting you.
That’s a good thing because no matter your religion, sometimes it seems like the Creator is over-busy. Actually, Creation’s job is never done. There are quad-trillions of situations, people at war, newborns struggling for life, fire, floods, famine and other situations that have to be immediately tended to…
That is why the Creator made dogs. Your dog has only one job, which is to love, comfort and protect you. As a breeder, does it not amaze you that as soon as a puppy’s ears open, it recognizes your voice? So be flattered by your dog
The Creator had a lot to do. Some things worked and some, like the duck-billed platypus of 166 million years ago, turned out to be a flop. And OK, sometimes we have reason to think humans could do with a do-over but the Creator thought about that and so He made a dog to love and cherish anyone who got short-changed by life.
With unfathomable wisdom God knew you would need protection, especially when you weren't even aware of danger. And above all, you would need something to idolize YOU above All Things. So God made a dog.
Think about that. The dog has only one job, one focus, one purpose. The dog, unlike any other animal or person, will love and protect you, with no boundaries, no exclusions, no excuses. Only God could make such a unique creature. The love of your life, your husband or wife or children may desert you. Even if they stand by you in a crisis, they are often distracted, too busy, talk to you later…
Your DOG is never too busy to acknowledge you, to sense your mood and react appropriately. Your partner, parents or best friend may pick up on your worry, sadness, or the good news you can’t wait to share - but not as quickly as your dog. Be honestly and openly thankful that God created dogs to support us ‘no matter what’ and that your dog will stick with you even to the point of starvation. When you think about it, the dog has faith, faith in you.
That ought to make you stand taller and be immensely grateful… TheDogPlace.org EST 1998 © Oct 2024 https://www.thedogplace.org/Family-Dog/Rely-on-faith-and-your-dog-b24A101.asp SSI Brought to you by the NetPlaces Network
