PAGANISM AND ANIMAL RIGHTSB.L. Cozad, US Army ret. SFC, Licensed Private Investigator
People may cripple or kill me using the unconstitutional, unjustifiable excuse that the duty of the government is to defend the animals I own from me!
You decide whether the government can place a higher value on my animals than my human rights and in truth, my life. The newly released New York best seller "Pagan Threat" shines a bright light on the practice of the various Pagan religious beliefs being promoted/forced on the American people by well-funded animal rights NGOs (Non-Government Organization) which may be connected to the United Nations Agenda 21/2030 plan which many see as global communism.
Former President Wayne Pacelle of the "NGO" referred to as the "Humane Society of the United States" has openly referred to Humane Society of the United States members and supporters as his “co-religionists”. An admission that Pacelle would like to take back as it exposes that the policies and agenda pushed by the Humane Society of the United States are rooted in the religious practices and beliefs of animal worshiping Paganism.
The definition of Paganism according to the Pagan Federation International's own website: “A polytheistic or pantheistic nature-worshipping religion. A definition of a Pagan: A follower of a polytheistic or pantheistic nature-worshipping religion. 1. A religion other than one of the main world religions, specifically a non-Christian or pre-Christian religion. 2. A modern religious movement incorporating beliefs or practices from outside the main world religions, especially nature worship, ‘modern paganism includes a respect for mother earth’. What Paganism Is: Paganism is the ancestral religion of the whole of humanity. This ancient religious outlook remains active throughout much of the world today and is re-emerging into explicit awareness in the modern West as the articulation of urgent contemporary religious priorities. The Pagan outlook can be seen as threefold. Its adherents venerate Nature and worship many deities.”
‘Nature’ is not only the environment, such as the recent exposure regarding “global cooling, global warming and climate change” which keep re-emerging as excuses to hinder industries and usurp private property rights, but nature also includes animals.
As stated in Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’s concurring opinion with the majority in United States vs. Alphonso D. Lopez Jr., 514 U.S. 549 (1995) summarized here: “the commerce clause does not provide the Federal government the constitutional authority to enact or enforce any animal cruelty laws”.
As an animal owner I contend that the State Governments also lack the authority to do so and blatantly violate the constitutional protections and guarantees enshrined in the Bill of Rights as the Fourteenth Amendment has applied the Bill of Rights (First Ten Amendments of the U.S. Constitution) to each of the States.
Many of the State Constitutions acknowledge in their own Articles (prime example - The State of Oklahoma Constitution Article 1 § 1 and 2 and Article 2 § 1 attests) that - the United States Constitution is the Supreme law and no law enacted in any State in America can be contrary to the United States Constitution.
The commerce clause does not provide an excuse to so blatantly violate constitutionally protected fundamental human rights using the excuse of protecting animal(s) from the American that owns them. Animal rights laws are a violation of constitutionally protected fundamental human rights, codifying into law and attempting to force the animal rights zealots religious belief of Paganism onto all Oklahomans in violation of the First Amendment guarantee of "free exercise of religion" and protections from "establishment of government respect for the Pagan religion".
