Footnotes on the Humane Society Of The U.S. (HSUS)

editor's note: links to the Fur Commission have been removed.  As spearhead of the Animal Rights Movement (see Animal Rights History), HSUS crushed the centuries-old tradition of wearing animal fur for warmth, thus collapsing the National Fur Commission.
