Ben’s first show was a major win (BOW) at the prestigious Palm Springs KC and Bilinda finished Bentley in September of 2011 in Prescott, Arizona, all from the Amateur Owner handler class. Jasmine began showing in January of 2011. Her first major (BOS/BOW) was at Ventura, CA the esteemed Richard Beauchamp. Jazz finished her championship with 3 Majors, also earned in the Amateur Owner Handler class. Both dogs were invited to the AKC/Eukanuba National Championships in 2012 and 2013.

To our knowledge, Jasmine and Bentley are the only two Clumber Spaniels that have completed their championships from the Amateur Owner Handler class and they are also two of the approximately 20 dogs of any breed to finish their championship from the AOH class in 2011 to the present.

Maru Anomar Ring Around The Rosie, “Rosie”, joined us in the summer of 2011. Rosie had already earned her championship with 4 Majors and began showing with us as a Special. She completed her Grand Championship quickly at the 2011 AKC/Eukanuba National Championships, Rosie showed beautifully, receiving the First Award of Excellence under Judge- Sr. Miguel Angel Martinez, beating the boys including the Number One ranked Clumber Spaniel at the time.

The form and function of a Clumber Spaniel is also displayed by Jazz, Rosie and Ben in their upland game hunting field work. They truly love to do what they were bred for, work closely and flush and retrieve game birds in the thickest of cover. We look forward to adding Junior Hunting titles to CH Clumburnes Sophies Jasmine, GCH Maru Anomar Ring Around The Rosie and CH Clumburnes Sophies Bentley in the near future.
