What is Salmonella? Salmonella (salmonellosis) is an intestinal bacteria associated with food poisoning but it can be transferred by direct contact with an infected person or animal.

SALMONELLA INFECTION SYMPTOMS include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping and fever.
