space13 inches and 30 pounds of firmly packed athleticism. Loves children, laps, and food - in that order! His egg-shaped head and piercing small eyes would amuse a burglar but the Mini-bull is a good little watchdog, in that when he barks, the guest has arrived… His quirky, happy-go-lucky attitude rubs off on all his human friends. - Description provided by TDP Science and Advisory Board.  Learn More About the Miniature Bull Terrier with the In-Depth Breed Reference and Reflections Sections.

The Miniature Bull Terrier requires an owner who believes without question that there is a little person trapped in a funny dog body. Even strangers laugh and within a few minutes, they “get it.” The MBT loves to make people laugh and just running across the yard, hind legs kicking out sideways like a mule, always works! Mini-Bulls sleep a lot. They never ever complain. Their bladder size is exceeded only by their stomach. MBT don’t like to “go out” unless it is with you. They eat anything, including sofas if you don’t give them attention and toys. Not to worry, nothing hurts their stomach. The Miniature Bull Terrier is made of steel and muscle with big soft hearts. They love to cuddle. All 25 to 35 pounds will fit in your lap quite nicely. Yes, there are health problems and all the tests in the world can’t prevent owner heartbreak, so choose wisely. Hold this breed close to your heart and remember what Kipling said “Our loves are not given, but only lent at compound interest of cent per cent….” The Mini-Bull will give you happiness and devotion you will never forget. Truly a loving investment with great returns.

Certified Breed Representative: Laurel "Lollie" & John Dalire

The Miniature Bull Terrier is the Comic of all Comics. When you least expect it they will have you rolling with laughter from their antics. Mini-Bulls seem to have the uncanny ability to know when you are having a bad day and will act accordingly. They are a compact little dog with lots of energy if that’s what you want at the moment. If you just want to hang out, the Mini-Bull Terrier is the best couch potato that you could imagine. They are easy and clean, a wash and wear type of dog without a lot of necessary maintenance. They are happy to get along with all, including children, other dogs, and in my household, they even get along with the cats. What more could anyone ask for? Well, let’s see. They know when to be seen and not heard. They are welcome wherever you go, and of course, the Miniature Bull wants to go everywhere you do. Energy and cleverness to entertain the children, common-sense to share with teenagers, and the ultimate companion for adults of any age. The Mini-Bull is like an understanding, entertaining, whimsical “person” trapped in a comical little dog’s body.

Photo Caption: Ch. VIP'S Meteor Shower “Haley” went Winners Bitch and BOS for a 5 point major at Great Western All Terrier show to finish her championship. Having proven her breed quality and in perfect health, she will be bred in 2009, handsome healthy suitors are welcome! Haley’s genetics are “out of this world” with 4 champion sisters out of Victoria’s Secret O’BJ.

Our ranch is "Pupuli Okole Ranch" (Crazy A_ _ Ranch) Home of Paniola (hawiian for cowgirl) Farms. Laurel “Lollie” Dalire’s first pedigreed dog was at age nine. Her first show breed was Cockers but when she and John married, they began showing Bostons in 1987. Then in 2005, they met a Mini-Bull puppy at the vet’s office. They were captivated and soon became owners of Miniature Bull Terrier VIP's Cosmic Monkey, “Moke.” They later acquired her full sister, VIP’s Meteor Shower “Haley” and then Wild West Miracle in Motion, “Henry.” Haley took off like a comet, showering Laurel and John show ring success – and love. John and Lollie love life with Mini-Bulls!

Miniature Bull Terrier
Certified Breed Representative: Bill and Barbara Andrews

Physically the Mini is the same as the Standard – a bundle of bulging muscle and vibrant good humor stuffed into a sleek tight fitting outfit that comes in stylish solid white or brindle, black, red and pastels of each. He has no cape but is a 30 pound Superdog that can leap over tall buildings in a single “sprong” or failing that, he just crashes through them! He positively adores kids ands expects to sleep with them. He is patient and kind with other small animals but he is a terrier and is the original size pub and back alley Gladiator, so he should spark if challenged. Girls get along wonderfully together but the boys, well, they get along with girls and people. The Mini is likely to invite the burglar in for tea, and then charm him into staying. He is a clown, a push-button dog that will sleep for days as long as he’s close to his person, and then play for hours when you are ready. Like all breeds, he has his Achilles’ Heel so you must inquire about heart and eye defects and if buying for show, buy only from a breeder of long standing and knowledge.

Bo’s mom is our Erenden Import, Multi-Group Placer and Regional Specialty BOS, Ch. “Mivvy.” Bodacious finished undefeated including Regional Specialty BW and National Specialty Best In Sweeps. He’s a multi-Group placer but more importantly, he is Bill’s best buddy.

Toy Fox Terriers O’BJ - with never more than eight breeding females, in forty-plus years Bill (now deceased) and Barbara Andrews have given the sport over 235 AKC Champions, Top Winners, and Hall Of Fame Producers in four breeds. BJ authored The Akita, a top selling breed book and several other breed books, published in eight languages. A dog press journalist for three decades, she is a feature columnist for ShowSight Magazine and the AKC Breed Columnist. Bill was CEO of a small company that supported their addiction to dogs.
