Barbara J. Andrews has, since the late sixties, written for Dog World, Kennel Review, and Canine Chronicle and since 1993, she has been an exclusive columnist for ShowSight Magazine.  She has authored eight breed books published in several languages, including World Of The Akita (Breed Book Of The Year Nominee), The Chihuahua, and The Miniature Bull Terrier.  Barbara is publisher of TheDogPlace, Editor of TheDogPress, and the Toy Fox Terrier breed columnist for the AKC Gazette.

"BJ" (CSI Hall Of Fame Breeder) and husband Bill (deceased) have bred more than 240 AKC Champions, owner-handled Group and Best In Show winners, over half of the All Time Top Ten Register Of Merit Akitas, and countless international Chs. from the O'BJ breeding program of fewer than 12 dogs.  An award-winning Bengal cat breeder (TopSpot),  pre-AKC Akita fancier, founder and First President of the Miniature Bull Terrier Club Of America, BJ is known for exploring and developing new breeds.  She has been exclusively devoted to the Toy Fox Terrier since 2001.
