PRO BREEDER KENNELS

For every puppy mill, there’s a dozen five-star breeding kennels but legislators never see well run kennels.  The Show & Tell DVD changes that!

Show breeders call all commercial kennels “puppy mills”, thereby feeding the Animal Rights agenda.  Worse yet, the public perception is that all breeding kennels are unkempt places where adult dogs, even puppies, are diseased, neglected, starving for food or a kind human hand, and wallowing in filth.

Tam Cordingley © TheDogPlace November 2009 - People have no way of knowing what the average kennel facility is like. Certainly our legislators and Animal Control people don’t. All they see are the abused dogs and cats and HSUS and PETA propaganda. I need your help to put together an anonymous CD featuring dogs, facilities, and narratives of our daily dog routines, to be distributed to legislators nationwide.

We’ve all seen the pitiful waifs in tiny cages, the abused or neglected dogs portrayed on the Animal Cops shows, but how many people in the general public have seen sleek, clean and well cared for dogs, in immaculate quarters, living great lives?

In order to change the public and legislative perception, I’ve already collected many photos of dogs showing that they are loved and very well cared for in breeder’s homes and kennels.  Please add your chapter to the Show & Tell DVD.

Only your pictures will be on the DVD and/or CD we are producing as proof of the prevailing picture.  Your name, state of residence, or location will not be revealed anywhere to anyone.  The purpose of the literature and CD is to fight the flood of animal rights legislation that is based on “evil breeders” being anyone who owns more than three or four intact dogs.

We need to fight that perception and seeing is believing.  We will show them examples of ordinary kennels, maintained by ordinary breeders who love and care for their dogs as a matter of course.  Some should be “commercial” breeders, people who in fact breed what we would consider “a lot of litters” and even of those facilities that AKC graciously dubbed as High Volume Breeders.  As long as the dogs are well cared for in a clean friendly environment, and they receive good veterinary care, we must stop referring to them as puppy mills.

If you live in fear and hesitate to help, that says it all.  You MUST help us change the bad image of dog breeders and breeding kennels created by the animal rights activists.  Your photo is literally worth a thousand words of rhetoric.
