His show career started with a
prestigious owner-handled win at the Waukesha
Specialty under Sari Teijin, and
then exploded with handler Carlos Puig. The
ShowSight magazine cover with Miss Dorothy Nickles is one
of the owners' favorites but in fact, Rio brought an
appreciation of breed type to all who delighted in his UNtypical adverts from the "burp" to the musical
Christmas card. The ChiChi is an honest, no
frills little dog with a great sense of humor and his
owners got that message across. Thanks to Dan, Bill,
Carlos, and all the top judges who put the Smooth
Chihuahua "On The
