As we mourn the anniversary of the WTC
collapse, the adverse drug reactions in U.S. hospitals equate to having three
WTC collapses every month! The suppressed (!!) six-year old
stats as published in the JAMA are sobering. While we see more and
more TV drug advertisements, each one encouraging us to “talk to our
doctor” even more people are dying from drugs that certainly were not
“right for you.”
The drug industry can afford to blanket television and magazines with advertisements. As mega-corps collapse, it is the only industry still showing huge gains in profits. Want to invest? There’s your opportunity. Or maybe you should try the Agri-business stocks. Want to prevent death or injury to your pet or to someone you love? If so, read on because you are not going to believe what’s next. You know about the serious dangers of genetically modified agriculture, in particular, the case against starlight corn? If not, go here!!! Even as the FDA fights to keep vitamin-fortified nutri-foods from Americans (they are popular and in commonplace use in other countries) get this – drug companies have submitted plans to USDA which would allow them “to begin testing food crops genetically engineered to produce pharmaceutical drugs.” (9/02 Dr. David G. Williams, Alternatives Volume 9, No. 15) The submitted proposals are to use corn, rice, sugar cane, and barley. Of course the Agri-giants claim there is no risk of cross-contamination of normal crops. Quoting Dr. Williams, “They claim pharming can be a very efficient and low-cost method of safely manufacturing drugs.” God forbid. Want more info on this? Go to http://www.dogsadversereactions.com/ or explore the Library on your own. Ms. DoodleDog is lazy and doesn’t always come back with the right article but there is a wealth of info there on this subject, particularly by SAAB Member Dr. Roberta Lee.
