Geneva Coats is a Pomeranian enthusiast in Southern California. She is a member of the American Pomeranian Club and the City of Angels Pomeranian Club.

As a registered nurse working full-time in critical care since 1981, her interest in health and genetics led her to volunteer to author articles for the APC bimonthly magazine, "The Pomeranian Review".

She also owns and moderates the PomBreedersForum, a yahoo group for Pomeranian lovers which is focused on health and genetics, and serves over 230 list members.
